White Blankie

I knit this soft white blankie for my friend whose baby is due in the beginning of April. They don't know if it's a boy or girl, so I thought white would be safe. But it's pretty girlie looking, so I'm working on a blue one now, just in case. They already have 4 girls and 1 boy, so chances are good they won't need the blue one. I used Dreambaby DK yarn - very nice and soft.

Felted Bag with Sparkles

I knit this bag over several months in 2008.

Woolly Sweater

This is a woolly sweater I knit in the fall of '08. I took a class to learn how to make a circular sweater, using the book The Sweater Workshop. It was all very mathematical and I look forward to making another one someday. The neck really isn't as tight as it looks - I don't do tight necks. (It's pretty stretchy.) It's knit with Berrocco's Jasper - super soft and warm.

AJ's Blanket

This is the blanket that I knitted for AJ before he was born. It is a log cabin type of pattern that I used out of the Mason-Dixon knitting book. (The little nut brown hare has a matching ribbon.) I finished this one in the fall of 2007.

Prayer Shawl for Phyllis

This is a prayer shawl that my sister Patty and I put together for our friend Phyllis last fall. We each knit 9 squares, then sewed them together. I'm happy to say that Phyllis is recovering well.

In Summary

This is where I will post pictures of my knitting projects, including the ones that are "in progress". I usually have two or three (or more) projects going at any given time.
